RACING

The club has seen an explosion in popularity for racing and downwinding offering  a number of fantastic ways to learn to race. From weekly trainings to Thursday Night Lake Kawana time trials. Proper technique will lead to increased speed, improved proficiency and reduced fatigue.

 

Technical races  involve buoy turns and beach runs. These are designed to challenge you in the shore break and are fantastic events for spectators .The club runs  a number of pop up technical races through the year in the calm waters of Mooloolaba. Downwinding, endurance racing and sprinting are the other popular disciplines.
